ChristyS ~ Sometimes we have paid our children to do their chores ~ but we have always had our children tithe 10% of the money they receive (including birthday and gift money), 50% had to go into their savings account and 40% they were allowed to spend. Our children learned quickly that they could put the 40% into their savings account and save for something they wanted to buy.
