		<description>Hi Diane,

I have enjoyed purchasing from you for many years!

I just wanted to make a comment on what johnston5in5 said that “we can&#039;t ignore that it was millions of years between dinosaurs and humans.” I have to disagree because there is NO evidence of millions of years. There is only the data. We see fossils, we see layers in rocks, but they come with no “explanations.” People make those up based on their world view. The only reason Darwin, Lyell and others believed in long ages is because they began with a worldview that there was no God. They chose an explanation that would fit with their choice to ignore a creator God. If our world view includes the God of the Bible, then we should base it on His word since He was there when it was created, not on the word of mere men who were NOT there.

The days of creation are 24 hour literal days and God tells us so very clearly so there will be no mistake about it. At the end of each day, He says “and there was evening and morning, the first (second, third, etc) day. Why would He say “evening and morning” to designate each day if He didn’t want us to know they were actual literal days? Also, if the days were meant to be long ages (ie: millions of years), then how did the plants survive for thousands or millions of years without sunlight since they were made on day 3 but the sun (moon and stars) didn’t appear until the next “day?” Since the Genesis account is written in a genre or style of straightforward “history” why do people try to make certain passages figurative? Just to suit their own world view.

Creation can NOT go hand in hand with evolution for many reasons, one of which is that the Bible says that before the fall (ie: Adam and Eve’s sin) there was NO death. But evolution DEPENDS on death to bring about all the millions of supposed changes (none of which has EVER been observed.) So either the Word of God is true, or the word of men is true. I’ll go with the Word of God!
