I read "Sign of the Beaver" to my twelve-year-old boy when he was under the weather (half the book in one day) and he nearly forgot he was ill. We were on a road trip when we read "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and no one asked, "Are we there yet?" Thanks so much for the book recommendations; we've really enjoyed them.
