Thank you, Diane, for that encouragement. I have a 12 yr. old and a 15 yr. old still at home. I recognized myself in the description of the mom you described. I was here physically, but not always in heart and mind. The Lord used the book you sell called "Jumping Ship" to help me see this, this past summer.

By way of testimony, I decided to have my daughter help me with dinner (rather than using that time for "me" time with talk radio, etc.) and I've seen a huge difference in just one day in her attitude as she sensed that I was "with" her. This was a surprise since usually she would resist helping and doing chores.

I am grateful that you have the time and energy to encourage us moms the way you do.

Blessings to you,
Debbie
