I'm Diane Hopkins, mom of 7 children and in my 25th year of the wonderful adventure of homeschooling! I now have 8 grandchildren, too—so fun! I love living in the country, growing my garden, cooking naturally, and focusing on my family. I'm the author of Happy Phonics, a national award-winning phonics program, and several other homeschool books. I also design modest swimsuits (see below). I'm passionate about the subject of educating kids in a fun and loving way!
Your homeschool blog is so encouraging and I appreciate it so much. I met you several years ago — I’ve always been so impressed with you and grateful for your wisdom and the graceful way that you share it.

I need the window on life called Heart to Heart because it touches my heart and helps me be a better wife and mommy.

I read a lot of homeschool blogs, but I have to say that yours really makes me feel like I can do it, can homeschool, can raise good kids, can make it. Thanks!

I don't spend a lot of time reading email or surfing the net—too busy with kids—but your homeschool blog has brought a breath of fresh air into my day, and helps me with new ideas, ways to handle my kids, and what to cook for dinner, even!
